SILKE BISCHOFF were an iconic band that left a massive legacy and were mournfully remembered far beyond the electronic and goth scenes that they championed particularly in Germany during the 90s. Their albums are regarded milestones until today, but internal friction, legal issues, and most of all the tragic passing of one of its founding members, Felix Flaucher, has left their works in a limbo for many years. The compilation "Tears - A Collection of Silke Bischoff Songs" is the first step in making their oeuvre available to the public again. This hand-picked selection of classic tracks has been diligently and respectfully restored with a new master by renowned producer Olaf Wollschläger, who has worked with MESH, YELLO, MILÚ, MELOTRON, and BEBORN BETON among many other greats. This compilation even contains a previously unreleased track from the archive featuring Flaucher’s vocals! SILKE BISCHOFF were originally founded by Axel Kretschmann and Felix Flaucher as a gothic and dark wave project in 1990. The band name, SILKE BISCHOFF, initially caused controversy in Germany as it was inspired by an 18-year-old victim of the 1988 'Gladbeck hostage crisis’ that tragically ended in the death of the young woman. Following an acrimonious split that was healed just before the passing of Flaucher in 2017, the band went onto a long hiatus. At the 2025 edition of the prestigious Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Axel Kretschmann revived SILKE BISCHOFF with a celebrated stellar show in front of a packed hall. More concerts have been announced and more SILKE BISCHOFF materials will be carefully restored and become available again both in digital and physical form. The legend has returned!

FEN are climbing to a new artistic height by coming down to earth with their eighth full-length "Elemental Part One: Mourning Earth". The East Anglian trio has turned to their 'roots' in every sense, by distilling the true essence of what constitutes their sound through everything that they have learned and added in the last two decades. While the previous album, "Monuments to Absence" (2023), was deliberately arranged dense, fast and intense, FEN decided to leave breathing space on this album to allow more time for themes and ideas to exhale and unfurl. Of course, there is still much sonic aggression but channelled differently as large parts of "Mourning Earth" were recorded live to allow an organic nature to flow, and to permit the natural rhythms of the pieces to develop. Lyrically, FEN sum up their basic idea behind "Elemental Part One: Mourning Earth" in their own poetic words: "The morning mists clearing over the boggy expanses of the fens to reveal another grey, gloom-laden day of sorrow and regret. And at twilight, the slow, sad realisation that tomorrow promises only more of the same – tormented by the half-heard whispers of the spirits bound to the soils, our pain continues. And we can only endure." DYMNA LOTVA take another big step with "Vyraj" in their breathtakingly rapid artistic evolution. Founded in 1993, LIMBONIC ART released their debut album "Moon in the Scorpio" in 1996 via Nocturnal Art Productions, the label of EMPEROR guitarist Samoth aka Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen, after the band's early tapes had captured his ear. The band's, at the time, quite unique combination of harsh Nordic black metal with cinematic elements inspired by romantic and classic orchestral music proved extremely influential in the following years. LIMBONIC ART have always been an elusive creation that rarely appeared live, for example with a stunning performance at the Black Whitsun sub-festival of the doomed millennium year edition of the Wave Gotik Treffen (2000) in Leipzig, Germany. In the new century, Daemon also joined ZYKLON for a while, but in February 2003, LIMBONIC ART officially broke up. However, Daemon reformed the band in 2006. After another extended period of silence, the Norwegian cult act made an acclaimed comeback with their ninth full-length "Opus Daemoniacal" in 2024. "Arcane Past: The Celestial Grimoire" is closing the circle and offers LIMBONIC ART's complete classics and rarities for the first time collected on CD.

Some of the richest music is also the hardest to categorise. With their sixth full-length "Acou", MOON FAR AWAY embark on a musical exploration of the magical nature of sound. The band from the sub-arctic city of Arkhangelsk in Russia's north is studying the mythological cycle of the universe by assigning certain sounds and musical styles that range from the archaic and folklore to liturgical, classical, and even experimental music to each stage of its existence. MOON FAR AWAY were inspired by the finding that the world begins and ends in many ancient legends with a sound – from the utterance of a word to actual music or even the big bang of science. On "Acou", which means 'listen!' in Greek, the word (lógos) and music (mousĭkḗ) are as fundamental to the fabric of the universe as the classical elements of earth, fire, water, and air. MOON FAR AWAY have occasionally been referred to as "the heart of Russian gothic folk" or "The Russian Dead Can Dance", which are notions that still ring true regarding "Acou". Their music appears to be both light and even dreamy on the surface, yet at the same time it comes with a dignity, gravitas and passionate seriousness that set these songs apart from simple pop; despite sounding captivating and melodic. OMEN CODE were originally intended as a one-time project by Kevin Gould. The engineer, programmer, and lyricist was a member of the English Industrial EBM trio JOHNSON ENGINEERING CO. together with Sean Bailey and Ian Hicks, which released the album "Unleash" in 1988. He went on to found the electro-industrial act ELECTRO ASSASSIN with Ian Taylor. When vocalist and lyricist Agi Taralas was hand-picked from a stack of applications for the frontman position, the chemistry between the two artists proved so productive and strong that Gould and Taralas decided together to turn OMEN CODE into a permanent project that would also aim to perform live. The vocalist had already left his mark on the scene in a joint project with German electronic musician Stefan Böhm under the moniker OUR BANSHEE that released an album entitled "4200" in 2017. Mastermind T.S. aka Lupus Viridis has taken giant steps in his musical development since the release of VRÎMUOT's debut album "O Tempora, O Mores!" in 2020.
